**Yoru and Denji land on the ground beside the pile of swords, and whilst they first assume everything is fine, they’re quick to notice that the Falling Devil is not in fact dead. She taunts Yoru by asking if she’s satisfied before pointing out that the fear of falling is innate in all living things whilst war is a far more human concept. She intends to wound the duo "minorly" and sends out Asa’s swords impale them. Yoru tells Denji she can’t run due to an impaled leg so he bridal-carries her to safety.

Denji asks her to create a motorcycle but Yoru tells him she needs a normal motorcycle first in order to do so. Eventually the two find themselves in a small store and the swords are temporarily halted by the owner’s door (much to his chagrin.) Yoru tells Denji that she’s going to unleash her second ultimate weapon, before resting a hand on his head. Both he and the shop owner are confused as Asa takes control and explains that Yoru intends to turn him into a weapon. Denji accepts his fate, as he believes that by being turned into a badass weapon then some of his sins can be eased. Yoru, now having grown attached to the boy herself, however, changes her mind and tells him she can’t do it right as the weapons crash through the front door, with a spear stabbing Yoru in the head.
