Is God calling you to be a Carmelite Nun?

Becoming a CARMELITE, in RESPONSE to GOD'S CALL, is through a gradual process of PRAYERFUL DISCERNMENT that takes a number of years and is made up of DIFFERENT STAGES.

The formation process must be attentive to the uniqueness of each sister and to the mystery that she bears in herself and to her particular gifts, to foster her growth through self-knowledge and the search for the will of God.. (COR ORANS)

In solitude and silence, by listening to the word of God, participating in divine worship, personal asceticism, prayer, mortification and the communion of fraternal love, they direct the whole of their lives and all their activities to the contemplation of God. (VITA CONSECRATA)
