What is it like to be a Muslim child growing up in today's India amid growing religious differences and intolerance? In the first part of our series, ‘Being Muslim in India,’ we explore how the changing social and political environment affects Muslim children. How are they coping, and how are their parents managing? The BBC's Divya Arya examines this through the experiences of two children and their mothers – one from Bihar in the east and the other in Noida, adjacent to the national capital.
