Magnificient Desolation an Imperial Stout by Gusto Brewing Co - Episode 211

Named to honor Buzz Aldrin’s description of the Moon’s landscape, and famous first words upon disembarking the lunar lander on July 20th, 1969 – this is an Imperial Stout. Brewed with a cluster of specialty grains and flaked oats, we conditioned it on house-toasted coconut and fresh and aromatic Madagascar vanilla caviar. With a nose and first sip like a still-warm macaroon delicately laced with feathery chocolate shavings, soft notes of bready bourbon remain on our tongue. Even after it’s made way deep into the void of our gullets, our senses remain totally eclipsed with waves of these rich and complex flavors. (9.1%)
