Hello everyone.. In this video I’m sharing all my notes for this particular topic so that even you can score good marks and after referring to these notes you don’t have to go back to your textbook as these notes are made combining 2-3 textbooks..The topic is how to manage a speical child in dentistry or how to manage handicapped child..handicapped child can be mentally handicapped or physically handicapped.. there are many classification which are given but the most commonly one used for handicapped child was given by nowak.. if you get a question on any of the special need child you have start with this classification.. there are various problems which can be encountered when treating a child with special need and hence the treatment need to be modified comapred to normal child.. specail child are mainly divided as mentally retarded, autistic child, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, blindness, deafness and down's syndrome so im going to cover all of these in various parts so that you can understand and get complete answer for it.. In this particular part im covering about AUTISTIC child in that the oral manifestations and dental management of such child is important to know..i hope this video will be helpful.. thank you..
