Join theBriceSide as he explores the old Harvey’s Foundry in Hayle, Cornwall. The foundry was established by John Harvey of Carnhell Green, near Hayle, in 1779. Harvey worked with many great Cornish engineers, including William West, Richard Trevithick and Arthur Woolf. The foundry finally closed in 1916.

When in Hayle, a pasty from Hampsons of Hayle is a must—it was super delicious. Probably one of the best bakery-bought pasties around! (www.hampsonsofhayle.co.uk)

The views from King George V Memorial Walk are truly stunning! Well worth taking a stroll with an ice cream.
