The NSW OC and Selective exams now include a new Vocabulary Cloze section in the Reading test, and many students underestimate how tricky it can be. This section tests more than vocabulary, it assesses grammar, sentence structure, context, and choosing words that fit meaning and tone. This was introduced in November 2025 onwards.
