Today’s video covers the biggest QuantCrawler update to date — fixing the pricing math that caused bad stop-loss and tick-value errors during live trades. After a rough Monday start, I found the root cause and completely rebuilt the logic system using TypeScript for direct hard-coded tick calculations across supported futures tickers.

This means QuantCrawler now:

Accurately calculates tick size, tick value, and stop-loss cost

Validates ticker data automatically via API calls

Sends real-time email alerts when unsupported tickers are uploaded

Auto-updates risk/reward math instantly inside the chat

Defaults to a clean $200 risk / 1:2 reward model for consistency

Fixes major indicator conflicts (EMA, VWAP, etc.) when uploading charts

I also walk you through how to use the new system:

Turn off all chart indicators before uploading.

Upload your 1m, 5m, and 15m charts.

Adjust your risk or reward value directly in chat (instant recalculation).

Watch as the math dynamically adjusts — no more mispricing or mismatched stops.

This update rolls out today at 1 PM PST (4 PM EST) right after market close. The site will be down for about 20 minutes while it deploys.

QuantCrawler is now more accurate, faster, and safer for traders running TopStep combines or live intraday setups. I appreciate everyone’s patience as I fix, test, and rebuild this tool solo.
