Today, I continue my "Let's Play" of Pokemon Yellow Version for the Game Boy.

It is Elite Four time here in our Pokemon Yellow journey and I am genuinely excited to bring you what is the final leg of our journey.

The Elite Four are the Four greatest Pokemon trainers in the Kanto region, defeating them is the only thing in our way from becoming a Pokemon Master. I will face off against the Icy Queen Lorelei and the Fighting Master Bruno in this episode.

STRATEGY | LORELEI: All of Lorelei's Pokemon are an Water Hybrid however with the exception of Jynx they would be dual water type as well (Jynx is Ice/Psychic). This doesn't mean you can go all out with your Electric Pokemon, pay special attention to the stats because her Cloyster made short work of Pikachu. I would recommend a Fighting Type Pokemon if you have one trained, using a Fire-Type to take on Jynx and Pikachu to take on Slowbro. Lorelei is not easy if your Pokemon are under-levelled because even though her Pokemon are of the same typing, their stats variance actually would make her tricky under equivalent circumstances. Watch out for Lapras because it can wall you and hits HARD with Hydro Pump/Blizzard.

STRATEGY | BRUNO: Bruno, by comparison, is much much easier. He has two Onix which are by far his weakest Pokemon. A Flying type Pokemon would have a field day against him, Psychic as well since they shouldn't be troubled by Onix's low Special. Much simpler battle than Lorelei. Hitmonchan has decent type coverage of attacks, and Machamp's Submission hits hard.
