Merry Christmas Everyone! I really hope Ducy Claus, Santa or your parents or whoever you believe delivers your presents was good to you, and I hope everyone is staying safe! As you guys know, this has definitely been a rather crazy year with what's gone on, and I was definitely worried I wouldn't be able to make a Christmas Day special this year. But make a Christmas Day special I have, and for those who didn't know, on Christmas Day SIX YEARS AGO on December 25th, 2014 is when I opened up my channel here! And because you guys are so freaking AWESOME and are such a loyal subscriber base and have helped make this crazy year a really successful one for my channel, you guys deserve a PRESENT!

And your present is some rides on this AMAZING, HISTORIC, ANCIENT 1912 Manually Controlled BIRDCAGED, Gated, BOTTOM DRIVE Otis Elevator in Colorado Springs! Again, because of how awesome you guys are, you truly deserve such an awesome special with such an awesome elevator that not only did I get to ride up and down, but the operator was absolutely AMAZING and let me OPERATE this beauty!
Even though this elevator is 108 YEARS OLD now, it runs SO SMOOTHLY and is in such EXCELLENT condition as if it's brand new, and the operator who's been here for 20 years told me this thing has only broken down 3 TIMES the entire time he's worked at this building! It goes to show you how excellent the quality is on these Historic American-made Otis Elevators! It is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and was so much fun to ride and operate, and the relays in the basement were very audible!
The guy was so awesome and informative and showed me the motor, the counterweight, the pulleys on the top floor and he let me take my time and get as many photos and video footage as I wanted! I really wish more people were like this, and if the operator is watching this, from the bottom of my heart, I just want to say, THANK YOU!
And the same thing goes to all of my awesome friends and subscribers I've made here the last SIX YEARS! YouTube has changed my life for the better in a way I NEVER could have imagined and I'm beyond thankful for it.
