The Pioneer Plaque is a golden disc with information about humankind and our location in the universe. It's traveling through space at 12 000 km/s onboard the spacecraft Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11. Intelligent extraterrestrial life forms who find it might be able to decode its message.
