Majuli Island is the world's biggest river island and is located on the Brahmaputra River in Assam. As it's an island, it stayed isolated and developed its own unique culture and traditions. In today's video, we explore Majuli island's history, and culture including its Satra traditions, tribes, food and much much more. The easiest way to access Majuli Island is by ferry and the ferry ticket costs only Rs 45 for a one-way journey. If you want to take your car, the fare for the car will be Rs 900. Do book your car in advance as the slots get filled fast.
