Nate Ruess has proven to be one of the most prolific songwriters in the world. With multiple number ones under his belt, his songs have resonated with audiences everywhere. Best known to fans as the lead singer of the group FUN. and featured vocalist on P!nk's "Just
Give Me A Reason," Ruess has notched two GRAMMY wins and eight total nominations, a multitude of RIAA certified platinum records, and one diamond record in “We Are Young.” Ruess's career began in the early 2000s fronting The Format, but it was his work with FUN. that made him a household name. FUN.’s 2012 album Some Nights featured songs like "We Are Young," (US #1; RIAA Diamond) "Some Nights" (US Rock and Alt #1; RIAA 7x Platinum) and "Carry On" (RIAA 2X Platinum). The success of “Some Nights” led the band to literally make it rain at the 2013 GRAMMYS where they earned trophies for Best New Artist and Song Of The Year (“We Are Young”). One of his earliest songwriting collaborations was with P!nk on her 2012 song “Just Give Me A Reason.”The song went on to become 4X platinum in the US and a hit single across the globe. The two reunited to co-write 2019’s platinum single “Walk Me Home” which went on to be #1 at US Hot AC and Top 40.Ruess’s songwriting spans genres from pop to country to hip hop.
