Surfing Pumping Kandui | Ft Koa Rothman Barron Mamiya Eli Olson & More

Kandui Villas in Indonesia was hit with a monster swell last week, sending all-time surf to most of the region. The Mentawai Islands, Indo’s most wave-rich surf zone received the best of it. Telescopes, Rifles and E-bay all saw it incredible surf offering thick, heavy tubes. Kandui saw the biggest and the best of the swell. Fifteen foot faces greeted a host of seasoned tube-pigs including, Barron Mamiya, Koa Rothman, Eli Olson and Anthony Welsh. In big, scary surf, the pros showed what they’re made of, looking comfortable in gapping tubes. Many epic barrels were made, with the odd hair-raising wipeout sprinkled in.
