Attention PhoneDog President Tom Klein and other PhoneDog employees.

It has been brought to my attention that your company is sueing former employee Noah Kravitz over allegation that he owes you compensation for the 17,000 followers of his twitter account which he took with him when he left the company.

There are a few points I would like to raise here.

Number One.
You gave Noah permission to use the account and to keep the followers on condition that he occasionally tweeted in your favour, a condition Noah happily met.

Number Two.
You had no objection towards his personal use of the account until he sued PhoneDog for unpaid wages in June.

Number Three.
You cannot assign a price of $2.50 to every follower, as different people follow for different reasons, some follow for updates, some follow so they can direct message the account holder, some so they can spread their own name and statuses or to gain more followers themselves.

No-one can assign a true value to a twitter follower.

This action by your company towards Noah is totally unacceptable and will not be stood for.

As the hearing of the case is set to take place next month I hereby give you seventy two hours to drop the case against Noah before I drop your website.
