I made this video to show how Ilhan grew up through the show and in particular I wanted to focus on his relationship with the concept of fatherhood.
As Kadir once told him, Ilhan didn't love his father, he just was upset that he his chance to finally be a normal "son" was taken away from him. He wanted to be a son of a father who loved him and he had no idea that that father would be his old enemy.
Emin made Ilhan realize how it feels to have an adult you can rely on and trust, to have someone cares about you and is ready to hug you and let you feel safe.
And this step was necessary for Ilhan to understand how to be, how to behave. Ilhan needed an example to follow and Emin is right that person.
Finally, we see Ilhan embracing fatherhood, being for his son what he needed as a child.
He became a good father and he made peace with the figure of fathers.
Last day Ilhan is a totally different and better person than first day Ilhan.
And he deserved to glow up like this🤍
