Ride along in a twin-engine Piper Apache as I prepare Cliff for his multi-engine rating checkride. All twins are a handful, but simply getting airborne in this particular aircraft was challenging! After some instrument flight, we run through almost all the multi maneuvers (the exception being a failed engine on takeoff, which I gave him on the previous flight). For reference, 'The Drill' in the Apache is: maintain directional control, quadrant full forward, gear up, flaps up, fuel pumps on, identify, verify, feather.

And give Cliff a hearty congratulations - he passed his checkride the following day!
