River Dee Marshes at Heswall Wirral. Filmed Feb 17 2015. Brian Summerville walking off the marshes with his dog Monty after a shoot. Not edited apart from one cut when I zoomed out as Brian got closer. This video shows just the last ten minutes of his walk off the marsh which takes him nearly an hour, making many detours to avoid the gutters. The last gutter he can't avoid as you will see. He went out at 5:30 am ahead of the rising tide and arrived back "on shore" at noon. The spade he's carrying he uses to dig himself into a hollow so he is camouflaged. There was a stiff wind blowing in from the sea. I was using an external microphone on the camera plus the new Rycote Cyclone wind shield. The wind was quite loud blowing around the railings of the old promenade. I think though there is just a bit of wind noise overload - despite the use of the expensive wind shield.
