The midi pleated skirt is a versatile trend and can be enjoyed by anyone. However, I have seen people struggle with length of the skirt and what to wear it with. It can look extremely chic and feminine or something you got out of your gran's closet (no offense to all those chic and regardless wonderful grandma's out there). So dowdy or chic is a fine line. I paired it with this oversized shirt to make the look feel modern and relaxed and just the roped sandals I chose and big hooped earrings gave me a gypsy vibe. Hence the name, Gypsy Rose. This Spring/Summer '19/20 Lookbook Series is to showcase the various trends popping this SS 2019/2020. It is basically how I would take trends off the runway and wear them in real life and what that would look like. I really hope you enjoy the look and get some inspiration from it on how to rock your own trends. Remember that trends aren't a must follow, they are just ideas that you can try if you want, and feel it. If you dislike any trend please don't feel pressured to follow it. I don't show trends I wouldn't want to try or wear in real life.

I was inspired to do this kind of bite-sized trends based Lookbook because of the great feedback I received from you guys on my previous bite-sized lookbooks. I love making fashion films/lookbooks the most on my channel so every video you see in this series I've put all my creativity and love for styling and video production into creating it for you.
