Allen Bradley HMI Data Logging-Saved to SD card-Part 1

Hardware: “2711P-T7C4D8” HMI
Software:
1. “FactoryTalk View Studio-View Machine Edition” to do HMI programming.
2. “FactoryTalk View File Viewer” to view and export a datalog file to .csv file (excel file).

DATA LOGGING:
1. Under “Data Log”, create a data log model
2. Add the data log model just created to “Data Logging” in “Start Up” under “System”
3. Create a .mer file and download it to HMI.
4. Insert a SD card to HMI and test it. In this video, “Test Application” in the software to be used to control/test the actual HMI.
DATA LOG FILE:
1. Turn off HMI.
2. Remove the SD card from HMI and insert it to your PC.
3. Use “FactoryTalk View File Viewer” to view and export a datalog file to .csv file (excel file).
