The Counting Crows perform I Wish I Was a Girl and Round Here (with the audience enthusiastically singing along) in at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida on April 28, 2022. I Wish I Was a Girl was written by Adam Duritz and Charlie Gillingham and was the eighth track on This Desert Life, the Counting Crows third studio album recorded in a house in California and released in November 1999. Round Here was written by Adam Duritz, Dave Janusko, Dan Jewett and Chris Roldan in 1989 when Adam was in a band named the Himalayans. It was re-recorded and included as the opening track and second single on the Counting Crows debut album, August and Everything After, released in September 1993.
