#224

Описание к видео #224

This video builds upon video #223 (intro to Gilbert Cell) - describing how AM (amplitude modulation) and DBS-SC (double sideband suppressed carrier) modulation can be performed using a Gilbert Cell as a balanced modulator. These modulation types are both possible with simple changes to the DC bias applied to the baseband inputs. Controlling the offset (and baseband signal magnitude) will set the modulation depth of the AM signal. The circuit used in the demonstration is essentially the same signal from video #223, with a minor change to enable adjustment of the DC offset appearing at the baseband input part of the Gilbert Cell.
