The adjustable connector fits up to #12AWG single-tap cords. After disassembling the unit, the included plug protector gasket is placed on the male end of the cordage. The cord is pressed into the shell gasket on both sides, the cords plugged in, and the shell closed around the two joined cord ends.

The shell can be adjusted length-wise to accommodate various lengths of plug-end sheaths.

The water-resistant shell will prevent the cord ends from coming apart, even if significant tension is applied. The gasket on the male end of the plug helps keep the actual prongs and receptacle side dry.
