Savoia Marchetti SM-84

Il Savoia-Marchetti SM.84, fu un bombardiere e aerosilurante italiano della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Era stato progettato per sostituire l’SM.79 da cui fu derivato e con cui condivideva molti particolari. Nonostante sia entrato in servizio con la Regia Aeronautica nel 1941, fu radiato prima dell'SM.79 e non lo sostituì mai completamente.

The Savoia-Marchetti SM.84 was an Italian bomber and torpedo bomber of the Second World War. It was designed to replace the SM.79 from which it was derived and with which it shared many details. Although it entered service with the Regia Aeronautica in 1941, it was decommissioned before the SM.79 and never completely replaced it.
