We are pleased to share our Annual Report 2025, highlighting a year of strengthened deaf leadership, expanded global reach, and concrete progress in sign language rights.

In 2025, together with our members and partners, WFD:
-Reached 96 countries through capacity-building, training, and advocacy
-Ensured deaf perspectives were present at the United Nations and global forums
-Strengthened deaf-led disaster preparedness and humanitarian responses
-Supported progress toward 82 legally recognised national sign languages worldwide

As we look ahead to 2026, a landmark year marking WFD’s 75th anniversary, our mission remains clear: to advance deaf people’s human rights, strengthen deaf-led organisations, and work toward a world where deaf people everywhere can sign anywhere.
