Dholera is fast becoming one of India’s most talked‑about urban projects—and in this episode we dive into the infrastructure that’s powering its rise. The Ahmedabad‑Dholera Expressway, part of the Delhi‑Mumbai Industrial Corridor, is nearing 80 % completion and is slated to open in early 2025 . When finished, the ₹4,373‑crore expressway will reduce travel time between Ahmedabad and Dholera to just 40–45 minutes, handle about 25,000 vehicles a day and offer a 120 km/h speed limit . Its four‑lane design can be expanded to twelve lanes, and it features eco‑friendly elements like roadside plantations and interchanges to improve connectivity .

We also look at the Dholera International Airport, a cargo‑cum‑passenger hub spread over 1 426 ha with two runways—3.2 km and 4 km in length . The first phase of the airport is scheduled to finish between December 2024 and early 2025 , and it will be ready for public use by 2025‑26 .
