M D Ramanathan - Padma Shri Felicitation Function & Concert at Bharatiya Music & Arts Society, 1974

Sri M D Ramanathan was awarded the "Padma Shri" by the Govt. of India on the 26th of January, 1974. In celebration of this recognition, a felicitation function was arranged by The Bharatiya Music & Arts Society, Bombay, on the 17th of March, 1974. The chief guests for this function were veteran musical giants Sri Palghat Mani Iyer and Sri Alathur Srinivasa Iyer. The programme details are as follows:
