The PDP-8/E was introduced 1970 August 25.-28. at the Western Electronic Show And Convention Los Angeles (WESCON). DEC showed the PDP-8/E with the new OMNIBUS design. This was a big advantage for the PDP development, offering other companies an easy way to develop options for the PDP-8/E. So this is 50 years ago! To celebrate this, Volker Herrmann made a small birthday film. Happy Birthday, PDP-8/E!
