MRI Mastery Series: External Auditory Canal (EAC) presented by Dr. David Yousem
https://mrionline.com/courses/mri-mas...

The external auditory canal can be thought of as a vestibule to the temporal bone. Most people have a lot of fear about the anatomy of the temporal bone. But when broken down into external auditory canal, middle ear, and inner ear, the EAC is probably the easiest area and a great place to start learning about temporal bone pathology. Within the temporal bone, and within the external auditory canal, there are many potential causes of conductive hearing loss.

This course will describe for you several of the lesions that are associated with external auditory pathology both on the congenital basis, as well as on the non-congenital basis, which includes great infections, great potential neoplasms, and other pathologies that are worth understanding.
