Recorded May 1993 in Arlington, VA. Celebrating the 35th anniversary of Forrest Ackerman's Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine.

Big Daddy Bill Lappe attended what is called the Woodstock of the fantasy film world. Three incredible days over the Memorial Day weekend of 1993. When fans from all over the world and dozens of filmlamd's greatest names joined together in Crystal City, Virginia to celebrate the worlds most beloved monster magazine and its illustrious editor, Forrest J Ackerman.

Be sure to look for young pre-Big Daddy Bill, known then as Grand Master Bill, around the 1:47:00 mark. He is asked his opinion of the event just after receiving an award as a Master Model Maker, judged and signed by stop motion legends Ray Harryhausen and Jim Danforth and along with Forry himself. Bill also sold his original art pieces to some of the famous attendees.
