Arko Shaving Cream for Sensitive Skin – Benchmark Test V1.1 (wet shave shaving cream safety razor)

Arko is, I think, best known for their shave stick soap... but they make hard shaving soap pucks as well as a variety of shaving creams. This shaving cream for sensitive skin is something I've never tried before. I did some test lathering before the video, but I have no idea what the shave will be like. Let's find out if the lather is creamy and slick or if this tube is just destined to become another preshave, stuck in the back of the shaving supply closet!

My V1.1 benchmark standard is: no preshave cream or lotion; Merkur 34c safety razor; 1st or 2nd use Astra SP blade; Nivea Men anti-irritation gel; Omega alum stick. Then for benchmark tests, I switch out the razor OR the blade OR the shave soap/cream/foam/etc. Aftershave of any kind is optional.

This test replaces the Nivea gel with Arko's shaving cream for sensitive skin, all else being held constant.

Notes
* 1 day of beard growth
* face wash and hot towel before shave
