Join us this Saturday, December 4th for a special Dii Handpan Class hosted by Dave Beery and featuring guest, Sepideh Homami.

Sepideh is a free spirit woman who spends most of her time in nature, within and on top of the mountains, swimming in lakes and rivers, running, cycling, hiking and backpacking, mostly with her handpan. She is a former member of the National Swimming Team of her hometown in Iran. Due to some country limitations, she switched to canoe and kayak and soon she found herself competing worldwide in the International Games and World Championships, where she achieved over 300 medals nationally and internationally.

A lifeguard, swimming instructor, and current USA Canoe & Kayak official, Sepideh is also a software engineer who enjoys geeking out on technology. She left the corporate world last year to follow her heart and passion in music and healing. Now she holds many gatherings in Southern California, offering sound baths with live handpan music and mindful nature hikes. She is living her truth in the simplest yet happiest and most authentic life she could imagine.

Sepideh first rented a gorgeous handpan from Dave’s Island Instruments (she called it My Little Yellow Butt! 😀 because it had a yellow shell at the bottom) in early 2019, and she had no idea how to make a sound from this strange UFO. Yet, she was in love with the instrument–she would sleep and wake up to play her Dii handpan. Now she is playing, co-creating, improvising and holding gigs.
