Mudakathan Keerai rasam 👇

Ingredients 📌

Mudakathan keerai (Baloon vine leaves) - Fistful
Cumin seeds- 1Tsp
Pepper -1/2 Tsp
Garlic -10cloves
Tomato -2
Tamarind extract -1cup
Mustard seeds - 1Tsp
Red chillies -2
Turmeric powder -1/4Tsp
Water
Salt to taste.
Jaggery - small piece
Coriander leaves -little
Curry leaves - few
Asafoetida - pinch

Method👇
In a mixie jar take mudakathan keerai, pepper, cumin seeds, garlic and chopped tomato and grind into coarse paste. Heat oil in pan. Temper with mustard seeds, red chilli, then add the ground paste and fry a little. Add tamarind extract, turmeric powder and enough water mix well. Add salt to taste. Let it boil. Then add small piece of jaggery, coriander and curry leaves. Then add asafoetida. The mudakathan keerai rasam is ready to serve.
