BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said: “The situation in West Bengal is very bad. A TMC leader from Murshidabad, Humayun Kabir, said he wants to rebuild the Babri Masjid. Leaders from the INDI alliance are either staying quiet about this or supporting it. What kind of atmosphere are TMC and Congress trying to create during election time?
In 2005, Mamata Banerjee got angry because she wasn’t allowed to talk about Bangladeshi infiltrators in Parliament. She threw a file at the Speaker’s back. I want to ask TMC: Was Mamataji right back then, or is she right now?
What changed? She once broke Parliament rules out of anger, but today she supports the infiltrators. She’s not just going against the makers of the Constitution—she’s also going against her own past self.”
