[MAD] GONG - 平成時代のヒーロー達 —Heroes of the Heisei Era—

Made in the eve of the new year, this fanmade music video / MAD / AMV is a tribute to the Heisei Era (1989-2019) and the heroes who have fought and defended in the name of love, righteousness and justice in this 30-year age that defined Japan's heroes, culture and pursuit of aspirations, dreams and hopes. Countless heroes, hundreds or even thousands, traversed this glorious era and rose and fell to their challenges, fighting their battles for what they believe in, protecting worlds from the most powerful evils that wished to destroy what mankind stands for. Nevertheless, these brave warriors selflessly stood by each other and never gave up on their fights ahead, no matter how harsh the world is or how much they are willing to suffer. They, as Japan's icons, represent the last three decades as mankind's will to face and advance the troubles and tribulations that the human race faces. In other words, the last three decades was the cornerstone of Japan's stand on the modern world of progress, technology and reason we live in and the people who lived in this time span, especially millennials, are testaments to that. It was indeed a long era of struggles and victories and now that it is about to come to an end soon, it is time to pass the torch of warriors and heroes to a new generation in the next era.
