Rumored Fire Emblem Echoes in 2022 or not, I had the idea to compile footage from FE4 for any potential future projects...and then soon realized that it'd be pretty neat to share this work with you guys as it's surprisingly hard to find comprehensive and neatly-organized footage of this game's excellent fan translation Project Naga. That said, I don't claim that this is totally comprehensive - full lists of unique boss conversations in particular are quite difficult to find - but I did my very best. Think of it as an event gallery, showing off the many character and story beats that give Genealogy its reputation as one of the best-written games in the series, even more than 25 years after its release.
Note that Project Naga released in 2016, a year before the launch of Fire Emblem Heroes which provided the first official localizations for many of the names in this game. As such, in this translation you'll see a lot of popular fan translations of names as well as official localizations from pre-Heroes media (ex. Fire Emblem: Awakening) that IS has since retconned. I'll be using the updated names in my timestamps, but just be aware that in many cases they won't match what you see on screen.

It took me a while to think of an appropriate way to address Genealogy's ending, which as noted is very modular and structured unlike that of any other Fire Emblem. Path of Radiance comes closest, but it's nowhere near as variable.
The three example endings should give you a good idea of how this all works out, but I wanted to lay out the details of what effects the player's actions have on how everything plays out.
1) Deaths
Most obviously, if someone is set to inherit a nation or territory but dies (or isn't recruited), then Seliph will take it instead. The worst case scenario is that of Ending #3 here, where everyone dies and the continent is united under Seliph because no one is left to rule.
2) First generation pairings
The majority of the substitutes share the default outcome of their child counterparts. Most interestingly, this includes Amid and Linda who inherit Friege just like Tailtiu's children. The only ones who don't are the substitutes for Edain's and Brigid's children, who have no connection to Yngvi and so instead have different fates: Muirne and Deimne in Isaach, Daisy and Asaello in Thracia.
Furthermore, as seen in Ending #1 and stated in an event during Endgame, some territories have no inheritor and thus pass to Seliph by default. These, and the first generation characters who must have children to inherit them, are Yngvi (Brigid or Edain - note that Brigid's children take priority), Verdane (Jamke), Velthomer (Azelle), and Edda (Claud). Dozel passes to whichever of Iuchar or Iucharba you recruited unless Lex has children, while Silesse doesn't have a named ruler if Lewyn doesn't have children but will nonetheless not be inherited by Seliph unless Erinys's children (or their substitues) died.
3) Second generation pairings
In keeping with the sexism typical of the Kaga-era games, the fates of the second generation female cast are largely tied to their marital status. Generally speaking, unmarried women will follow their brothers, while married ones will follow their husbands. There are however a handful of exceptions:
-Julia will always remain with Seliph, even if she marries. Altena will also always remain with Leif, although she cannot be paired.
An unmarried Lene (or Laylea) will not follow her brother unless he receives a paternal inheritance, but will instead follow Ares to Agustria.
-If both characters in a first generation pairing leave an inheritance, their son will take his father's while their daughter will take her mother's, even if she marries. This is most commonly seen with Tine, as Tailtiu's children always inherit Friege - but all of Tailtiu's predestined lovers leave inheritances of their own for Arthur. This also occurs with Patty if her father left an inheritance for Febail.
The pairings I chose for Ending #2 are intended to showcase as many of these different factors as possible, and I'm happy to say that it mostly went off without a hitch. I attempted to pair Coirpre and Patty to show that Coirpre can in fact be paired despite his age and late join time, but unfortunately Patty ended up with Shannan first. Of course, because she inherited Yngvi in that ending it's not as though it actually mattered.
