The art is beautiful as expected and I love the character designs. I can't pass on a story with yokai and it's refreshing to see the female lead not be the human! I can't wait to see how they adapt to each other's worlds and how the story will develop 🐦‍⬛

Also on a technical note, this volume feels really good, it's a standard size like Bungo Stray Dogs, it's thicker than most and there's a lot of doodles inbetween chapters. I also really love the little "instructions" at the end eheh and the contextual notes are always appreciated. The spine is adorable and I love the back too. It makes me look forward to how the next volumes will look. Yen Press did a great job with the design on this one!
