Uzbek Plov, also called Pilaf. My recipe will help you cook it to perfection.

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup cooking oil
2 medium size onions
1 kg lamb meat
3 1/2 cup long grain rice
4 medium size carrots
1 garlic head
2 tbsp of mixed spices - cumin, coriander seeds and black peppers
1 bay leaf
2 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp pepper

Tips

Use lamb meat. By cooking with Lamb meat you get most authentic flavour. It gives a special aroma for the unique Uzbek plov.
Don't stir too often. Stir occasionally, but don't over stir because the rice will end up mushy.

Add right seasonings. Adding cumin and coriander seeds really helps to bring out the flavors in to plov.
