While Joshua Solis was being treated for a bone disease at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) his family discovered the Literally Healing program which provides books for patients and families at the children’s hospital. This program, hosted by Laura Nickerson, tracks Joshua’s journey at CHLA and his mother, Mary Solis’ development of Calabasas Cares to raise funds and collect books for the Literally Healing program.
