Hey guys, this morning I went out while it was dark and rainy and filmed a low light test with the Sony FX30, Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 and Tiffen Pro-Mist 1/4. I have been hearing a lot of controversy about the second base iso of 2500 on this camera, so I decided to do a test to see for myself. I found that it wasn't incredibly noisy at all in the shadows as some others have said. It's actually quite clean. Keep in mind that I do take the creative approach of exposing +1.3, which provides cleaner shadows to begin with. Everything is filmed handheld, and graded in Davinci Resolve.
