Feeding Synths Into My Guitar Amp

In this video I'm experimenting with sending synth sounds into my Roland JC-50 Guitar Amp. First I'm using the OP-1 from Teenage Engineering and then my modular synthesizer. What do you think, is it worth the extra effort of setting it all up for recording?
