What a shame! The Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup has been a staple in the Smoky Mountains in the early 1980's, and it was recently cancelled, because Dollywood wants to extend its Splash Country schedule. I had a great time at the final Shades of the Past car show, but felt pretty sad that this awesome event was coming to an end. Take a look at some of my favorite vehicles from the show, as well as some cruising coverage, and a quick look at the Magnificent 7, the top cars from the show.
