“It saved my life.” Recovery Programs Helped This Veteran Get His Life Back

During and after his time in the Army, Greg faced challenges with
depression and substance misuse, which often got him into trouble. He
eventually sought treatment at a VA medical center, which he credits
with saving his life. Receiving support from his wife and opening up
about his challenges with a professional helped him find relief and a
better path. Now sober, Greg is able to be present for the people and
moments that matter to him.
