Haven’t released a personal video for … 8 years?! haha
And I made this video about 2 years ago but haven’t released it til now… [shakes head]

I think I’ve been resistant to make videos like these (only showing highlights and best takes) because parkour videos can often skew people's ideas in a way that makes parkour less accessible to those who may need it most. Without the hard work, good falling technique, the examples of us adapting to mistakes, etc. people can walk away believing this is incredibly dangerous and that we’ve just been lucky up until now.

So I made a second half that gives you a little glimpse into my training behind the finished product: the strength training, falling, the many attempts it sometimes takes to get something just right.

Please keep in mind that this isn’t what beginner training looks like, as I’ve been doing this for over a decade now, but your journey into parkour doesn’t have to start at the level of all the sensational videos you see out there. It starts with developing a basic relationship with the world around you through falling, crawling, jumping, balancing, all at ground level. I hope this video inspires, educates, and entertains :)
