A friend of mine invited me to come over to metal detect. He said his girlfriend had a cemetery behind her house. I knew the troops marched down the road she lived off of but I wasn't sure if the property would hold hold history. The first day on the property, I didn't bother with the detectors, I made my way to the cemetery and I was instantly blown away by the wrought iron gate surrounding the graves. Although it looked newer than the property and the grave themselves, I decided to ope the gate and take a closer look.. Upon further inspection, I realized the that a quarter of the graves pre-dated our county. It was then I realized this property holds great potential. A potential we've yet to reconcile.
