WEEKLY SKETCHBOOK

Over the past 3 months I've completely submerged myself into learning how to 3D model and animate. So to start out I am using Blender. Blender is a free open source software that anyone can download for free. Check it out! https://www.blender.org/

So of course I wanted to push the limits of this exercise to the next level, and I created my 3D model of what I call The Fish Skull using Blender and imported it into a gaming platform called Unreal Engine (https://www.unrealengine.com). Then I set up a testing environment to interact with my Fish Skull in a virtual space using the Oculus Rift. It was amazing! This is just the beginning! Expect to see more video and tutorials coming soon!

Welcome to the studio. My name is RC.Nelson. I am the creator and craftsman of MattiBurns creative studio. I specialIze in Motion Graphics Animation, Digital Illustration and UI/UX Interactive Design. The studio is in the heart of downtown St. Louis, MO.

I am creating a NEW YouTube channel called WEEKLY SKETCHBOOK. It's a place where I am showing off my drawings, paintings, music and more in a video format to grow as an artist and make some new friends along the way.

They say practice makes perfect, so I want to continue to build my skills as a cartoonist and illustrator every week.

I want to encourage others to take the time to practice and master the craft they're most passionate about as well.

I want to build a community I'm calling a CYPHER, a collective of artists and dreamers desiring to LEARN, GROW & SHARE their work to the world every week!
