10 Rupees Coins Republic India 2005 to 2007

The 10 Rupees definitive coins were released for the first time in 2005 with the theme Unity in Diversity and were minted only by Noida Mint. The coin is made of Bi-Metallic (Nickel-Bronze) weighing 7.71 grams with 27 mm diameter and circular in shape.

On the Obverse, Ashoka Lion Capital, Denomination and Date with lettering भारत INDIA सत्यमेव जयते.  At the reverse, Cross dividing four dots with lettering दस  रुपये TEN RUPEES.

The 2005 coin is considered as scarce with the numismatic value at approx Rs 150 to Rs 200 for Extra Fine and UNC condition. The 2006 coin is considerd as common with numismatic value at approx Rs 25 for UNC condition. The 2007 coin is also considered as scarce with the numismatic value at approx Rs 100 for UNC condition.
