AUTHENTIC PORK SISIG KAPAMPANGAN | HUNGRY MOM COOKING

Sizzling Sisig is probably one of the best specialty food we have in Pampanga. It is popularly served as 'pulutan' and also makes a great lunch or dinner entree. This recipe is how we prepare it - no egg or mayo - and I think it just tastes perfectly this way! :)

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 :
For boiling pork:
1 kg pork jowl/cheek and ears, cleaned
250 grams chicken liver
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp peppercorns
6 cloves garlic, crushed

1 big onion, chopped
2-3 pcs red chilies, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup calamansi juice
1 tbsp liquid seasoning
1 tbsp butter (for sizzling plate)
