This is an mtg arena standard deck guide and gameplay video for core set 2021 (m21).

The goal of this deck is to prevent our opponents from being able to deal damage to us, basically putting them in a prison where they cannot win as they watch us poke at them with a weak win condition. Runed Halo plays a key role by preventing certain creatures (or explosion) from dealing damage to us. With the 4 copies of Mirror Made, this gives us access to 8 copies of that effect, which is alone enough to shut down many strategies.

We also play softer prison cards in Revenge of Ravens and Ethereal Absolution. Both cards synergize well together as they progressively weaken the damage of all the creatures our opponent controls. By combining these enchantments with Runes Halos, we can deal with both wide strategies and strong creatures. Ethereal Absolution also serves as a win condition by allowing us to creature small flyers.

This is an esper prison list which doesn't play any creatures in the main board, although Karn, the Great Creator gives us access to alternate win conditions form the sideboard. Folio of Fancies is a real option to close out games in slower matchups.

All in all, this is a fun deck to pilot (although relatively weak) that can create creative board states. I hope that you will enjoy the games of Runed Halo prison in mtg arena standard with core set 2021 (m21).
