We are proud to announce that we have signed a contract with the Berun Group and the general contractor China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. to supply 11 screen bowl centrifuges, 16 pusher centrifuges and eight fluid bed drying lines for the development and utilization of a trona mineral deposit. Located in Bragg Sumu, Tamusu, Ayou Banner, this ambitious project has a planned annual output of 7.8 million tons of soda ash and 800,000 tons of sodium bicarbonate. The project falls under China’s energy transition policies governing “carbon peak and neutrality” and “dual controls”, and by applying ANDRITZ expertise in automation and maximum separation efficiency, it will help to reduce carbon emissions in soda ash production.

ANDRITZ China has been committed to local development, localizing core technologies and providing first-class products and services to Chinese customers, for over 20 years and has installed over 150 centrifuges for soda ash in the process.
